Damn this time there aren't any packages for slackware, so i'm stuck with beta1 (I don't want to recompile!)

Maybe consider http://dot.kde.org/1108288130/1108327746/1108458961 as packages.

This bug has resurfaced after 3.3.2 release. I sincerely hope the amazing team of KDE developers fixes this for 3.4 ... it would be a pity to use any other browser only to access gmail.com mail account!

I really don't like the tool tips animation or style.
I haven't dug very deep but if there is no option to revert back
to the plain box and fade in/out there should be.

Of course there is an option, don't be silly ;) You turn it off in the same place you used to turn off the icon zooming that no longer exists (which is Panel settings -> Layout -> Look, the General frame, the left check box).

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
