 Boson

by djworld on: Dec 5 2005

Score 50%

I think Boson deserves a good place here.

I don't like the games from the kdegames package at all, maybe KMahjongg or Shisen-sho but I don't use to play them very often. I used to play Enemy Territory but now I only have my laptop and its graphics card is a shit (Radeon IGP 340, <500fps in glxgears) so I cannot play it anymore. :(

But it's a game made for KDE, isn't it? I mean, it uses the KDE libraries. I don't know many 3D games that use the KDE libraries.

That's right...

However Boson is still not finished and lacks a lot of features.

In the meantime you might find me playing netpanzer on one of the servers in the internet ;-)

 KShisen-sho

I say (well, my gilrfriend says) that the greatest KDE game is KShisen-sho. I don't play games myself, but she installed Linux and KDE only for this game. That means something ;)

Good. KDE is really useful to let Windows users see how free OS are cool :)
Personally I use wallpapers changing every 15 minutes and Amor (excellent) to have my mother asking me for this on her desktop.
I should try with KBounce then. I had her discovering gaming... with SuperTux !
I don't think she had done just a tetris before :D

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
