There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path! If it is c:\ it will crash..

is Playing games,Configuring KDE,Theming KDE waste of time?

Translating is not waste of time for sure, but it is fullfilling the free time people have.

 Waste?

How you can waste your time? How anyone can waste it's own time? Whenever i do something, i do it for reason of for fun.
How can someone waste time by activity? When you write useless code, etc. - you have practiced. Practicing makes champion (or guru if you want).
How can be theming kde waste of time? And i think it is the best activity on whole world!
If question would be saying 'spend', i would not know where to click first : )

I agree with previous commenter. The difference is subtle, but important.

The idea is that if your doing anything other then something in which you set as important (a good use of your time) or is perceived to be more important, then that is "a waste of your time". The idea is also relative to ones perspective. If your time is planned out for the day, anytime you deviate from the set plan, that deviation was "a waste of time". The more important question is:
Did time serve you well today or were to a slave to time?

:-) Just funning with you.... or am I wasting your time?

:) It was a joke, it's a figure of speech, not an exercise in elementary philosophy.

Have fun and try not to over-analyze everything. :)

"Contributing to KDE and the Linux community and not being appreciated."

Ah, the Mosfet legacy. Still alive and well I think.

I think mosfet was appreciated... really.

The only problem was that he demanded even more appreciation.

I appreciate Maitre, and his infamous almost non-existent RAD.E8 icons.

I remember when you almost took those offline b/c you couldn't get in touch with the original author. Oh the history that may some day be lost.

Hears to people helping each other in the spirit of OSS. :)

cheers,

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
