I am alone, have been since a year now. I keep a good old 21 inch TV in my apartment which is always on, just to have a background noise :)

When I bought my new LCD computer screen,
a strange thing happened.

It was summer, windows opened,
and many flies would seat on top of it,
filling it up with their dirt.
For a moment I thought I had a burned pixel,
but no, it was fly's dirt.

Anyway, the strange thing is
that I never had such a problem,
with my old tube screen.
And I look at my small tube tv,
and flies don't even go close to it.

What's the matter?
I can only assume that flies
can detect the radiation of the tubes,
and therefore they avoid those screens.

flies are smarter than humans

Maybe the flies are just sensing the 14 KV charge on the screen that would otherwise zap them and flatten them to a disk. CRTs have been known to do that. :)

I even have the problems that very small flies managed to crawl into the thin space between glas screen and LCD panel. Unfortunately they did not manage to come out of this trap again :-(

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
