Has the best applications
Has the greatest look
Ease of use

I've always liked KDE. Even since 1999, when I was using Windows, I looked at KDE's website and marvel with its beauty. All I wanted at that time was Linux AND KDE. Two years later, I managed to install Linux. Now I use Gentoo.

KDE is the best desktop.
Kmail is the best GUI client.
Kopete is the best MP-IM.
Konqueror is the best browser (it can be improved thou ;) )

KDE Rocks. Gentoo Rocks. Linux Rocks.

Yeah, I'm in love with Linux, Gentoo, and specialy, KDE.

I use it because of it's really powerful, and the greatest open source platform technology at the moment.

It's really good integrated via kio, dcop, kparts, xml, modular&flexible and fast konqueror, etc. It's developed in C++.

It's a good open source developer platform because of the above and kdevelop, Qt designer, kommander..!

It is very flexible, good look and easy to get on with the user, and despite it's not lightweight, but aa bit heavy to me, it's getting better every release.

It's kinda coool. And has a lot of apps despite it lacks some of them, but you still can use mozilla (I love khtml but...), openoffice (I love koffice and kexi!! but...) and gimp in kde, and I hope that it's integration in the desktop get better (I mean this kind of integration: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/wlg/5214, http://usefulinc.com/edd/blog/2004/7/21#00:28).

But I think that kde should focus evolve towards CLR and something like XUL, and more integration and even developers integration with the operative system. Perhaps SuSE Linux did a good job here integrating Yast2 in Kcontrol ;-).

Overall, I love KDE but I keep one eye in the future.

 I didnt vote.. (yet)

I didnt vote for because my main reasons for using KDE are:

- KDE has the most consistent feel
- KDE delivers the best development framework

I believe these two have something to do with eachother.

I dont know if KDE has the best apps, I'm not trying other apps, i just use what comes with SuSE (i installed all the k*-apps) and i love it.

Coming to thing of it I'll vote for "Ease of use".

How do you like Plasma 5?
 The best KDE Desktop ever.
 Definitely a nice improvement.
Not decided yet. Haven't tried it yet.
I do not like some of the changes.
KDE is taking the wrong way.
I am still sticking with KDE 3.5.
I have no opinion, but wanted to vote anyway.
