Likes:
KDE, Debian Linux (not *Ubuntu), Linux Mint, NPR, American Public Media (APM), Chromium, the Los Angeles Dodgers
Don't likes:
Arsehats who think they know everything and feel you\\\'re wrong for even insinuating that they may not be right on any subject
Interests:
Freeing the world from both the hassles of Windows and the closed system of OSX, as well as from the asshat decisions that are the current versions of Ubuntu and Mozilla Firefox. After all, I thought Open Source was supposed to be about the user\\\'s choice, not the devs\\\'.
Languages:
Just English. Sorry.
Programming languages:
I can\\\'t program my way out of a wet paper sack in any language
Favourite quote:
No one\\\'s blowin\\\' sunshine up my ass so it ain\\\'t showin\\\' up between my lips.
-Rep. Layne Maly (SC)
Tom Clancy\\\'s Op-Center: Line of Control
Favourite music:
Classic rock, progressive rock, classical, jazz, blues, fishhead
Favourite tv shows:
Doctor Who (but not the current Doctor), Torchwood, Law & Order: UK, Sherlock, Eureka, Warehouse 13; Burn Notice
Favourite movies:
Broadcast News, any of the \\\"Jay & Silent Bob\\\" series
Favourite books:
Anything by Dean Koontz, the entire Ender\\\'s Game series, all six parts \\\"of the Hitchhiker\\\'s Guide to the Galaxy\\\"
Favourite games:
Not much of a gamer, but I have been known to spend a bit of time in Scorched 3D, solitaire and Bejewled. One of these days I need to get back into SecondLife.
About me:
A former Win use, I switched to Ubuntu Linux in late 2007. After being frustrated by some of the design decisions made by both GNOME and the Spaceman I switched to KDE earlier this year. I\\\'m now kicking myself for not switching to KDE sooner after KDE4 came out. Now I\\\'ve moved farther away from Ubuntu by moving to Linux Mint Debian Edition and a pure Debian base. I may have to build more packages to run them but I love my laptop.

Do you like or dislike Ubuntu Unity?
 Yes, unity is alien technology!
It is less confusing than Gnome 3 default, shell.
Granny thinks it is much more usable than Gnome 2
Canonical is embarrasing itself with this split project
Gnome 3 default shell is much better
I dislike Unity, Gnome 3 default shell is alien technology!
None of the above, I like the 2Gb for free and Apple alike behavior. Will post a comment instead
